Copyvio issue

Borrowing a few words that describes her, her occupation and a list of her accomplishments shouldn't be considered a copyvio. I will expand this page when I get a chance to do so, I'm surprised to not find an article about her so I decided write one. Ahmed shahi (talk) 21:57, 29 April 2010 (UTC)

It's not the facts of her occupation and list of accomplishments that are the problem, it's how those facts are arranged. I would recommend that you read WP:PARAPHRASE and WP:FAQ/Copyright#Derivative works if you desire a further explanation of why this is still a problem even though it's not a complete copy/paste from the source. 22:04, 29 April 2010 (UTC)

Because I am not very good at rewriting. If you don't wish to rewrite it then it will remain blanked and an admin will look at the page in a week and either rewrite it or delete it at that point. VernoWhitney (talk) 22:17, 29 April 2010 (UTC)

I never wanted the page deleted, I wanted it to not violate anyone's copyright. Thank you for rewriting it. Timeline?

When did the couple arrive in Afghan? Since the Democratic Republic era? Did they stay during the Civil War era? Children of the dragon (talk) 22:24, 19 June 2010 (UTC)

Louis Dupree died, I think of lung cancer, in 1989, before the civil war began. I'm quite certain Nancy Dupree did not stay during the Civil War (1992-2001). There was not much of a foreign presence in Afghanistan during that time.David Straub (talk) 01:06, 20 June 2010 (UTC)
