This article is too heavily based on [1], including runs of duplicate language or text in which only some words have been omitted. Compare for example this fragment from the source:

After graduating from Hannah More Academy (Baltimore, Maryland) in 1898, Turner accepted employment as a teacher. She had begun writing poetry at an early age; by 1902, her poems were being published regularly in national magazines.

Our article currently says:

After graduating from Hannah More Academy (Baltimore, Maryland) in 1898, Turner was a teacher. She began to write poetry, by 1902, her poems were being published regularly in national magazines.

Paraphrase such as this is much too close to the original. Abridgment is a derivative work, a legally protected form of speech; only the copyright holder of the original work has the authority to license derivative works.
