This article doesn't really tell me what the New Zealand Tour Cars are or give me any useful information - "This series somewhat resembles but differs in many ways from the Australian V8 Supercars" What is that supposed to mean? I tried to find some information on the net about this topic but was unable to find anything useful. I vote to delete this page. --Jeff 17:17, 28 September 2005 (UTC)

This page is worth keeping, but it needs a lot of attention. The writing style is not up to Wiki standards, and it needs better research, fact management and citations. From what I know of the NZ series, I think that there are enough differences over the Australian series to warrant the separate article. Deletion is not appropriate, as it is a sufficiently notable championship. Adrian M. H. 20:11, 7 January 2007 (UTC)

New Zealand Touring Car Championship

Given that the New Zealand Touring Car Championship was clearly a separate title to the NZ V8 Championship, I propose to move the NZTCC winners list to a separate “New Zealand Touring Car Championship” page. GTHO (talk) 08:42, 10 December 2010 (UTC)

Merge request

V8 Supertourers collapsed mid-way through last season. How can it be called a merger when one side no longer exists? Surely this is just a series name change. --Falcadore (talk) 10:27, 30 November 2015 (UTC)
