I have a fair bit of experience with political biographies here at Wikipedia, so I'll give this one a shot at a review. Midnightblueowl (talk) 14:59, 16 August 2016 (UTC)Reply

Having read through the article, I can immediately see that a lot of good work has gone on here, but there are still issues that need cleaning up before it can be passed as a Good Article. Midnightblueowl (talk) 17:42, 16 August 2016 (UTC)Reply

Images:

  • I'm happy with "6b. images are relevant to the topic, and have suitable captions" but I think that there may be some issues to do with "6a. images are tagged with their copyright status, and valid fair use rationales are provided for non-free content". • https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:N%C3%A9stor_Kirchner_adolescente.JPG - This is a great image to use but I am not convinced that it is in the Public Domain, as the tag on it claims. Accordingly to the tag, for a photograph to be PD in Argentina, "Both at least 25 years have passed after the photograph was created, and it was first published at least 20 years ago". Now, this photograph itself is clearly over 25 years ago, but was it first published over 20 years ago? I don't see any evidence of that, although it would be great if you could obtain some. • File:Kirchner+Scioli.jpg - This image claims to have been taken from the Argentine President's website, in which case it would be suitable, however no link is provided to demonstrate that this is the original source. Midnightblueowl (talk) 17:50, 16 August 2016 (UTC)Reply
  • File:Néstor Kirchner y Roberto Lavagna-Buenos Aires-23 de agosto de 2004.jpg - Same issue as above. Midnightblueowl (talk) 17:52, 16 August 2016 (UTC)Reply
  • File:Emmanuel Operación.jpg - Same issue, although this time we are provided with a deadlink. Midnightblueowl (talk) 17:59, 16 August 2016 (UTC)Reply
You are right. I simply took images from Commons, without checking their licenses; as I focused the work on the editing and referencing part. But the problem is a bit higher than those specific images, as many others do not give a significant link, but just a link to the Casa Rosada main page (such as the main image). Please fail the article for the moment. I will have to manually check all the images of Kirchner in Commons, see which ones remain usable, and rearrange the article images as needed be. Eventually I may nominate it again. Cambalachero (talk) 18:56, 16 August 2016 (UTC)Reply
If you're sure, Cambalachero. I have some further prose suggestions too, but I could pop over to the article's Talk Page to offer them. Midnightblueowl (talk) 21:17, 16 August 2016 (UTC)Reply
