category Fungi of Japan edit

Right now the page is in Category:Fungi of Japan. Problem is, the cat is a redlink and the page is already in Category:Fungi of Asia. Should I remove either, and which? --an odd name 02:16, 12 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

Raising tribes to the level of genus edit

The statement "German fungal taxonomist Paul Kummer raised many of Fries' Agaricus tribes to the level of genus" doesn't make sense, since a tribes is a higher taxonomic rank than genus. Either the taxa in question were actually of lower rank, like "section" or "series", or these changes were demotions, not elevations. WolfmanSF (talk) 00:07, 21 February 2020 (UTC)Reply
