Picking this up for a review if that is okay with you. I will try to get the review up by the end of Sunday. Aoba47 (talk) 00:35, 24 March 2019 (UTC)Reply

Lead and infobox
  • I am not sure that “Christmas” counts as a genre as Christmas music can include a wide variety of genres. For this reason, I would remove it from the genre parameter of the infobox.
  • I have a question about this sentence (It is one of the most personal tracks on You Make It Feel Like Christmas.). I could not find this sourced in the body of the article. Also, who considers this song to be one of the most personal tracks? Stefani, music critics?
Background and recording
  • Couldn’t the following sentence (Throughout 2017, Gwen Stefani attended studio recording sessions where she was in the process of creating new music with various musicians.) be simplified into something like (Throughout 2017, Gwen Stefani recorded new music with various musicians.)?
  • I am a little confused by this part (she planned to release some of the new music by the end of 2017.). To me, it implies that she recorded some music that was either not for the Christmas album or was just not released at all. While having unreleased material is a generally normal thing for albums, I do not see the “some” part supported in the reference.
Composition and lyrics
  • This sentence (The beat evident in the production is comparable to the one that appears in Ben E. King's 1961 single "Stand by Me", due to the similarities in "poignant bass notes" that help create a sense of the holiday season.) reads awkwardly to me so I would revise it. I would also clarify in the prose who is comparing the production of this song to “Stand by Me”. Maybe something like the following: ([[The Highlander]]'s Janine Lano compared the production to Ben E. King's 1961 single "Stand by Me" due to the similarities in "poignant bass notes" that help create a sense of the holiday season.). Remember to remove the wikilink for The Highlander in the "Reception" section since the publication's name should be mentioned here.
Reception
  • Everything looks good here.
Live performances
  • I am uncertain if “mixing bowl” needs a wikilink, particularly since it goes to the generic “bowl” article.
  • Here is a source that shows that Stefani performed the song at the Rockefeller Center in 2017. Here is a video of the performance if you are interested in seeing it.
Final comments
  • Great work as usual. I will pass this once my comments are addressed. Aoba47 (talk) 16:07, 24 March 2019 (UTC)Reply
  • @Carbrera: Just pinging you as a reminder about this as it has been 8 days since the review was put up. Aoba47 (talk) 23:19, 1 April 2019 (UTC)Reply
  • @Carbrera: I see that you have done edits to the article, but could you please update me about the nomination here? Aoba47 (talk) 16:41, 11 April 2019 (UTC)Reply
  • Aoba47 – I'm really sorry about my inactivity lately. Could I have two more days with this article? I would really appreciate it, thanks. Carbrera (talk) 18:19, 12 April 2019 (UTC).Reply
  • No worries. You can take as much time as you need. Aoba47 (talk) 18:21, 12 April 2019 (UTC)Reply
  • @Carbrera: Just wanted to check back in on this. Aoba47 (talk) 11:50, 24 April 2019 (UTC)Reply
    • @Aoba47: I made some edits, is what you wanted?? MarioSoulTruthFan (talk) 23:32, 24 April 2019 (UTC)Reply
      • I am just used to have the nominator say what they have done here so I could clearly understand what has been addressed and what has not been. I will pass this article momentarily. This will definitely be my last GAN review for a while. I do not appreciate the attitude from this part (is what you wanted??) when I am volunteering to help someone with a review and to improve an article. Aoba47 (talk) 00:12, 25 April 2019 (UTC)Reply
  • @Aoba47: I didn't mean to be rude, I asked to see if it was what you were looking for, the article has been lingering here for a while. Just trying to help. I wasn't sure if it was what was missing. MarioSoulTruthFan (talk) 00:56, 25 April 2019 (UTC)Reply
    • Apologies for overreacting. I just took the two question marks as sarcasm. Thank you for helping as I know Carbrera is busy and had already covered a majority of my comments. Have a great rest of your day. Aoba47 (talk) 00:58, 25 April 2019 (UTC)Reply
Aoba47 and MarioSoulTruthFan – thank you both for your contributions to this article. I am glad to know the both of you on Wikipedia. Carbrera (talk) 04:42, 26 April 2019 (UTC).Reply
