- I deleted the line before the DISPLAYTITLE, which removed the extra whitespace. —MRD2014 📞 contribs 23:37, 13 April 2017 (UTC)

- Not done: it's not clear what changes you want to be made. Please mention the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format and provide a reliable source if appropriate. Kpgjhpjm 13:05, 7 July 2018 (UTC)
They are the same app just renamed, they should share one page with the musical.ly information added to the other page. Zubin12 (talk) 02:14, 9 September 2018 (UTC)
TikTok is a separate app in China and it started out as its own app, there's a reason why its called TikTok with Musical.ly now — Preceding unsigned comment added by 204.13.77.4 (talk) 16:43, 27 September 2018 (UTC) But now there are allegations that the Chinese Government was taking information and data from the users' accounts. Are they true?
Same App one of which is just a renamed version of the other. Zubin12 (talk) 10:45, 9 September 2018 (UTC)
- Strong oppose, musical.ly and TikTok are two separate apps. The app musical.ly was merged with TikTok 2 August 2018. Even then, musical.ly was a standalone app that's older than TikTok. TikTok or Douyin was the newer app of the two. UpsandDowns1234 (talk) 16:31, 25 September 2018 (UTC)
- Support. The two apps' accounts are now merged, just as the ownership has merged, and this article should now be merged into TikTok. -- Ssilvers (talk) 01:26, 30 November 2018 (UTC)
- Support. The branding and app store pages has lost all reference of musical.ly (except the publisher name on the Apple App Store), and TikTok has the same feature-set of Musically. 5.198.117.21 (talk) 19:45, 4 July 2019 (UTC)
dab link in citeweb web paramter
editGermanJoe - you reverted my edit to the Musical.ly article. I saw an anonymous user subsequently changed the dab again, removing the wikilink. I'd like to explain the issue. The citeweb guidelines indicate that you can add a wikilink for the web parameter. However, in the case of Bloomberg you added an link to a disambiguation page, which is counter to the policy of not linking directly to disambiguation pages (see WP:DAB). Note that such links are flagged under the WP:WPDAB project as articles to be fixed. By changing the link to a piped link [[Bloomberg News|Bloomberg]] I kept your original wording but removed the amibiguous link. Because you reverted the change, the anonymous user apparently decided to remove the wikilink altogether and repeat the url domain www.bloomberg.com. I think a wikilink is more useful since the url already includes a clickable external ink to the reference and users would have to type www.bloomberg.com to navigate there. The wikilink is helpful -- it just needs to be unambiguous.Coastside (talk)
- @Coastside: I have restored your change (I was probably more focussed on the spam removal (from another editor) and missed the complete context of this specific change). Thank you for pointing this out and for your efforts to improve such Wiki-links. GermanJoe (talk) 18:45, 5 January 2019 (UTC)
Was it Chinese prior to Tiktok merger?
