Contradiction Tag
editCopied from the text to facilitate discussion here (I am not the tagger): "The preceding paragraph defines ficta as conforming to the Guidonian hexachord system, which encompasses both B-flat and B-natural, as explained in the following paragraph. Consequently, B-flat and B-natural are both musica recta, neither one can be regarded as ficta."--S. Rich (talk) 06:10, 25 February 2011 (UTC)

Additional citations
editWhy and where does this article need additional citations for verification? What references does it need and how should they be added? Hyacinth (talk) 07:31, 8 November 2011 (UTC)

"Single understanding"
editIt says:
"Hence, no single understanding of the concept existed in the later Middle Ages and Renaissance."
This appears to mean either "no one really understood it", or "it was understood in different ways". May I suggest the following?
Hence, musicians of the later Middle Ages and Renaissance did not all share a uniform interpretation of this concept. TooManyFingers (talk) 01:54, 28 October 2021 (UTC)
