editWhere does Ru Fe Morgan come from? I do not recall hearing her called anything other than Morgan for the entirety of the film. Elric of Grans 00:18, 12 December 2005 (UTC)
- The Field Of Goddess mook lists her full name as that. Since the information within it is the "definite" source of data on the movie, its safe to use I suppose. Her name should translate as "Le Fay" though... but not everything in AMG is 100% direct.
- Can anyone see a good reason not to move this page to Morgan le Fay (Ah! My Godess)? Shiroi Hane 08:02, 10 February 2006 (UTC)
- Nope. Done. --Kunzite 01:23, 6 May 2006 (UTC)
- I do not see the issue with Ru Fe Morgan. Can someone explain? Take a look at google search. I see many referances to a Morgan le Fay. One good reason not to move is that we are unnecesarily creating a disambiguation. --Cat out 20:15, 6 May 2006 (UTC)
- Because it's a really bad translation. [1] Google test only gives 7 entries (using quotes and excluding wikipedia.)
- According to jawiki the name is モルガン・ル・フェ. The first thing we notice is that the name is in Katakana meaning it's likely western. The Japanese keep western names in western order. So it's not "Ru Fei Morugan" but "Morugan Ru Fei". Secondly, the ル is used to represent the French "le" sound. i.e. "Le Fauconnier (ルフォーコニエ, Rufookonie)", "Le Fort (ルフォール, rufooru), etc...
- 妖精姫。かつて恋人と共に裁きの門をくぐれなかった為、セレスティンに協力した。劇場版に登場。
- Rough translation: Fairy Princess. In order to be with her sweetheart she cooperated with Celestin to pass through the gate of judgement. She appears in the movie version. They also list her with the god characters for some reason. hmm.. --Kunzite 21:22, 6 May 2006 (UTC)
- Thats acceptable. However I do propose keeping 'Morugan Ru Fei' as an alternative speaking. --Cat out 21:35, 6 May 2006 (UTC)
- Use: {{nihongo|'''Morgan Le Fei'''|モルガン・ル・フェ|Morugan Ru Fei|}} to do that. --Kunzite 22:29, 6 May 2006 (UTC)
- I like it already. --Cat out 22:39, 6 May 2006 (UTC)
