While the technical descriptions of the Mitchell cameras are certainly fitting and necessary, there must be some literature about the adoption and spread of the NC's use in the film industry. Also, it bears mentioning that, while the company's proper nomenclature was 'newsreel camera,' the film industry more often called the NC the Mitchell Noiseless Camera. The above source indicates that the NC was not noiseless at all, but was made noiseless through modifications made in L.A.

USSR copying
editI can't find sources about Soviet camera types, copied from Mitchell, but some of them are very similar. For example, 1КСК. Can anybody tell definetly, what specifically Soviet cameras were copied or influenced by Mitchell? Runner1616 (talk) 17:50, 16 May 2020 (UTC)
