I propose to merge this article on the book (Miscellanea Historica Hibernica) with the article on the book's reputed author (Pilip Ballach Ó Duibhgeannáin). The articles are nearly identical in their content, coverage, sources and the material each covers. Every WP:MERGEREASON is met. The book and its author do not seem to have notability independent of each other. In all honesty, I'm not even sure how WP:NAUTHOR and WP:NBOOK would sustain either article independently. Both articles have remained permastubs (and near mirrors/foils of each other) for 12 years. There is no value (and only CFORK issues) in retaining each separately. Resolved It's been the guts of a month. I've heard no other thoughts. I've gone ahead with the merge/redirect. Closing thread. Guliolopez (talk) 03:12, 26 December 2020 (UTC)
