Need a better source edit
I am of the opinion here, that the difference between mirror trading and program trading is rather unclear. Also any further citations maybe from academic sources would be useful.
Is mirror trading not applicable over other financial assets, rather than only FX markets, as it seemed to be implied in this article at present.

Article entirely unclear edit
It appears I'm echoing the sentiments of the item above.
The problems begin immediately, in the article lead.
The mirror trading method allows traders in financial markets to select a trading strategy and to automatically "mirror" the trades executed by the selected strategies in the trader's brokerage account.
Real life mirrors have a property of inverting the image along the Z-axis (our approximate bilateral symmetry causes us to perceive this as left-right reversal).
And this is not the worst of it. Symmetry transformations can become extremely non-intuitive: see plate trick.
So explaining "mirror trades" by saying that they "automatically mirror a chosen strategy" adds precisely nothing, except the word "automatically", which presumably is less than entirely "automatic" unless the trading operation has never heard of Black Monday (1987).
This article stands in need of serious work.
Note the the article on Deutsche Bank describes their Russian fiasco as involving tainted mirror trades. Showing up here, having come from there, provides precious little illumination. — MaxEnt 17:58, 29 August 2017 (UTC)
