Morbia

"Morbia," perhaps spelled "Morbea," is Mirage's homeland (for as much of a "land" as it really is). It appears in the first episode in which Mirage appears, "In the Heat of the Fright." In the episode description it's incorrectly called "Morbus."The Gazel Ministry (talk) 23:23, 13 April 2009 (UTC)

Power

The article says that "Next to Mozenrath, Mirage is one of Aladdin's most powerful enemies." From what I've seen of the show, I'm inclined to say she is the MOST powerful, outside of some one-shot characters like Chaos or the Ethereal; after all, she is able to create an obelisk with a shadow that could wipe anything out of existance, or shred Genie to pieces with a wave of her hand. The only reason she seems to hold back is that her M.O. is based on being evil--her title is "Evil Incarnate"--and corrupting souls, as opposed to bluntly killing people. If she wanted to kill Aladdin and his friends and conquer Agrabah, I have no doubt that she could do it in a heartbeat. -- VederJuda 01:00, 11 April 2006 (UTC)

True, i think she just fights him because she needs a hobby. though whats her conncection to those monsters, kids that are abducted from agrabah every few years become powerful wall crawlers and then come back. she seemed to be their leader. what are they calle "el catebeb" i havent seen the show in years.

Actually, I would not say she is the most powerful. The shadow wiping thing is not greater than controling the universe; wich Jafar was able to do as a genie before he was prisoned in his lamp. Shreding Genie does not prove anything since he is just too clumsy and too foolish to take full advantage of his powers in the TV series he was once even beaten by the weekest villian Amin Damoola! The following link is a video that shows an evil genie not more powerful than Aladdin's Genie overpowering Mirage: [[1]], wich proves that Genie is actually more powerful than her!

According to that episode, the evil genie wasn't a "free" genie, and that Genie lost some of his power as a result of being freed by Aladdin; and he ws eventually beaten by his evil double. Also, it seems Disney takes some liberties in how to neutralize a character's powers; Mechanikles once tricked Genie into entering a bottle her had, and trapped him inside; despite his semi-phenominal, nearly-cosmic power, Genie was rendered helpless until the bottle was opened. It is possible that be the same theory, a large creature grabbing Mirage is enough to render her helpless. All things considered, I suppose any talk of how powerful she really is is moot; since Disney plays around with character's abilities too much, and there are only three other magical characters she has appeared with, Genie, Fasir and Chaos; and never were their magical abilities directly compared. The only thing we know for certain is that her powers are no match for Chaos, but his power is so totally off the scale that it's pointless to derive Mirage's abilities by comparison. Film Wikiproject

I meant to leave a comment when I reverted, but hit the wrong button. I removed the film tag because Mirage has not appeared in any film, only the TV series, so I believe the tag was added by mistake.
