Creationism

edit

Michael George Pitman is not the author of the creationist book Adam and evolution this is a major misunderstanding, I just noticed the stuff about creationism has been on this article for well over a year.. this is a mistake! Totally the wrong guy. The author of that book was a creationist and British biologist teacher not to be confused with the Michael George Pitman who moved to Australia.

According to the book Adam and Evolution "Michael Pitman has an MA in classics from Oxford and a BA in science from the Open University. He teaches biology in Cambridge, where for three years he ran the University Origins Discussion Group". The Australian scientist Michael George Pitman did not have an MA in classics. It appears that the other Michael Pitman was a biology teacher and creationist, he never moved to Australia.

This is a major mistake, and for well over a year these creationist claims have been on this article when it is the wrong guy. Users should really be checking these things! GreenUniverse (talk) 21:26, 9 May 2012 (UTC)Reply
