Is the subject of this article really notable in himself for producing only one award-winning film, even though he meets the WP:BIO#Additional criteria? The page (especially check old versions) is a recreation of the speedy-deleted Michael paxton (deleted as a suspected copyvio). A quick look at Google reveals a Michael K. Paxton who is an artist from Basking Ridge/Bernardsville, New Jersey, and probably just as notable from Google results[1], a Michael J. Paxton who is a businessman, etc.
Is the article self-promotion? Sources on this filmmaker seem to be hard to find.22:07, 25 January 2010 (UTC) The following is one of the few that shows a small amount of notability in the filmography and awards sections: [2]. He did receive the Academy Award nomination for Ayn Rand: A Sense of Life, but what other notable film did he work on, other than Stuart Little 2 in "visual effects"?
The only other source I know of is the IMDB bio, by an anonymous author. So is it really possible to rewrite and salvage this unsourced biography, with multiple, cited, and reliable secondary sources? (And what about the artist, and the businessman?) Or should the article be deleted altogether? PleaseStand (talk) 03:06, 25 January 2010 (UTC)Reply
