SOME REFERENCES WHICH NEED STUDYING REGARDING DEWAR,EVANS,ZIMMERMAN edit

Untitled edit

This writer has a direct interest in the subject matter and thus someone else should be involved. But do let me mention that the Zimmerman reference details the contributions of Dewar and also of Evans. The Evans article reveals that all Evans presented was the 6-electron Hueckel case of a Diels-Alder. He had no Moebius (Dewar's "Anti-Hueckel") idea. Thus the Zimmerman article documents the development of the M-H idea and Dewar's contributions and Dewar's re-writing history, ascribing to Evans what Evans had not published. And Dewar's changing claims with time. The reference is interesting reading if nothing else; it is below. The Tetrahedron Editor was a student of Dewar and asked that the article be less forthright. But the article was accepted since it was accurate.
