Hyphenation of well known edit

In the sentence He was well known for his "mostly mild-mannered, lugubrious, amusing, sometimes moving 'little men'" in over 100 film and television series. I wanted to hyphenate well known, but I rolled back this edit because the non-hyphenated form is also correct as per most reliable sources. --Agusbou2015 (talk) 21:29, 6 January 2018 (UTC)Reply
