Largest Membrane Bioreactor Facility? edit

The Johns Creek Environmental Campus goes on line shortly (testing and startup phase begins April 20, 2009) in Roswell Georgia. It is designed for 15 MGD (57 MLD). According to the Construction company, it will be the largest MBR facility in the North America. More on this as it develops. I will be on site. I put this on discussion rather than article since it is not yet online, so it could be said it is not yet the largest in North America. wcf Facts are stubborn. Continuing research found this reference to 38 MGD dry weather capacity Brightwater Wastewater Treatment Plant in King County. I suggest that we not name highest existing capacity for process because this will result in inaccuracies and frequent edit requirements as more plants go to this process. wcf Facts are stubborn. Waste edit

Exactly what is done with the remaining (dough reduced) waste (bacteria, treated feces) ?

Solids disposal options are similar to other secondary treatment sludges as described at Sewage treatment#Sludge treatment and disposal.Thewellman (talk) 05:54, 1 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

List of Companies with Technology edit

I agree with the recent removal of the section listing companies with MBR technology. As a bare list, it didn't contribute much to the overall article; further, the MBR field is constantly growing, making it infeasible to maintain a complete or representative list. However, I feel that something should replace the removed section to give credit to companies that have contributed a lot to MBR development. For example, I think it would be fitting to give some space to the key early players (Zenon, Kubota, etc.) in the history section. Or maybe have a list or table of landmark MBR installations. Thoughts? I don't have time to do this research at the moment, and want some feedback first anyway. D Scott 86 (talk) 22:43, 3 January 2013 (UTC)Reply

MBR redirects to master boot record edit

I think a disambiguation page should be created to distinguish between both meanings of MBR but I don't know how to
