Seriously biased, outdated, and unencyclopedic
editThis article relies almost entirely on a single outdated paper written during the 1979–1980 energy crisis. Since then, the energy market has maintained a substantial degree of worldwide competition, and neither OPEC nor the Seven Sisters have ever regained their former influence. The only source that mentions "Megacorpstate" is an obscure academic paper with that title. It's not an accepted concept in economics, and without any mainstream references in support, this Wikipedia article should simply be re-directed to OPEC. —Patrug (talk) 05:00, 30 May 2017 (UTC)
