Dean Controversy edit

The clinical dean of MUA was arrested for sexual misconduct should that be covered here. CapMan07008 (talk) 21:01, 28 August 2011 (UTC)Reply

Probably not, but do you have a source? aqwfyj (talk) 04:13, 31 August 2011 (UTC)Reply

Notable Alumni section edit

Sultan M. Babar does not qualify as a notable alumnus as per Wikipedia:Notability (people). The primary requirement is that "a person is presumed to be notable if he or she has been the subject of multiple published secondary sources which are reliable, intellectually independent of each other, and independent of the subject." I am removing the section as per the above rule. aqwfyj Talk/Contribs 23:47, 26 August 2012 (UTC)Reply

Picture change edit

Good afternoon,

I am employed by Global University Systems (GUS) - the company that owns Medical University of the Americas (MUA); my Conflict of Interest (please see my Talk Page for all COIs).

I would like to the request an update to the pictures and the logo on the Wikipedia page. The following link shows the university's updated logo: [1]

Any insight from Editors on how to do this is appreciated.

Thanks, MsAttempt (talk) 14:20, 4 August 2020 (UTC)Reply

@MsAttempt: I declined the edit request as firstly the pictures currently in use are fine, secondly no other related pictures can be found in wiki commons.
If you like to add more pictures to the article, feel free to take more photos or existing photos and upload them into wiki commons with the appropriate copyrights. Once done, as long as it is just picture related edits, you can actually make changes yourself accordingly. Thanks --Justanothersgwikieditor (talk) 06:58, 21 September 2020 (UTC)Reply

Academic outcomes edit

Good afternoon,

I am employed by Global University Systems (GUS) - the company that owns Medical University of the Americas; my Conflict of Interest (please see my Talk Page for all COIs). I would like to request that a section titled ‘Academic outcomes’ be added to Medical University of the Americas’ Wikipedia page with the following sentences below:

‘Medical University of the Americas has self-reported an average first-time pass rate on USMLE Step 1 of 95% between 2015 and 2019.’ [1]

‘A 2019 report by the university, stated that students had gained residencies at hospitals including University of Toronto, New York-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital and Louisiana State University.’ [2]

Any insight from Editors is appreciated. MsAttempt (talk) 10:14, 2 October 2020 (UTC)Reply

The first edit is a reasonable request but we need a more specific reference. I see that the information is indeed presented on the current homepage of the university but homepages tend to change quite frequently so they're usually not good references. Is there a more permanent reference we can use e.g., a report of some kind?
I don't think the second edit would be very helpful for readers; it seems to be more promotional than informative. ElKevbo (talk) 06:34, 13 December 2020 (UTC)Reply
