There seems to be an error of dimensionality in the expression:

The parameter   is a constant whose value is  .

With a dimension of s^{-1} the resistance term has the dimension of V(olts)/C(oulomb) s(econd).

For this to be a resistance, the dimensions should be V/(C/S)=V(olts)/A(mpere)which is resistance. I believe that the correction called for is to change the term s^{-1} to s^{1}.

My source for this is the first chapter of most introductory physics texts, for example "Halliday and Resnick"
