Thank you for this new article! I have a question: Why do you think it's more appropriate to write in an English article "Maurici" (in Catalan) instead of "Mauricio" (in Spanish) which was the name one can find in most books and documents about him? Is there any evidence that he prefered his name in Catalan, that he ever signed "Maurici" or that he took advantage of the 1977 law to catalanize his name? If not, I think it would be better in English to leave the names as they are usually found, in this case, "Mauricio". If the article were written in Catalan it would be a different story.--Raderich (talk) 22:53, 9 August 2015 (UTC)

My humble opinion is that an individual should be referred to by the name he/she would have addressed himself/herself (not sure what the wiki rules are). The problem is - I regret to say - that I do not know how Mr Sivatte preferred to refer to himself: in Catalan or in Spanish. I assumed that since he was ethnically Catalan, he would have preferred Catalan, but I admit that I might be wrong (for instance, to underline his loyalty to Spain he might have preferred to be addressed in Spanish). Since I am anxious not to promote either Catalanism or españolismo, I would love to steer clear of any distortions. If someone has the clue how Mr Sivatte would have preferred to be addressed (Spanish or Catalan) please let me know or (if he preferred Spanish) please change the heading of this entry yourself (and quote the source, please).--Dd1495 (talk) 13:23, 12 August 2015 (UTC)

Did Sivatte really replace Junyent in 1933?

Are you sure about that? I have found references to Lorenzo María Alier as the Catalan Carlist leader in 1934 and 1935 (see here, here or here. I also found a message written by Alier as Catalan leader (see here) and his renounce in 1936 (see here). As shown on El Siglo Futuro, Alier was replaced by Tomàs Caylà i Grau (see here. According to Clemente, Sivatte then replaced Caylà in 1936.--Raderich (talk) 22:09, 31 December 2015 (UTC)

I claim that Sivatte was the Carlist Catalan jefe between May 1933 and March 1934 (all indicated and referenced in main body of the text), which is by no means contradictory to the sources you quote
