Accuracy of summaries edit

I think there should be a section concerning the accuracy of Masterplots' summaries.

I took many English and American Literature courses at both the community college and university levels. Initially, I used the Masterplots summaries as part of my study aids the night before any exam on a literary work. I even Xeroxed the pages so I could do a quick review right before the class exam.

It was during my initial read-through of some summaries that I found errors. On my paper copies, I made the corrections so that 'my' summary copies were accurate to the actual literary work (which I had read prior to using the summaries as a quick brush-up study aid --- that's how I discovered the errors in the summaries).

After a while, while working on a Master's degree in English, I stopped using the Masterplots summaries as part of my study aids BECAUSE of all the errors I found. In fact, I got rid of my original 'encyclopedic' set and all of the yearly annuals that friends and family had given me BECAUSE of the errors.

If a Wikipedia entry is to be "complete," it must be objective and include both the good and the bad (and everything in-between).

As such, I strongly think that there should be an "Accuracy" section as part of this entry. 2600:8800:50B:6700:C23F:D5FF:FEC5:89B6 (talk) 01:13, 19 April 2017 (UTC)Reply
