GA Review edit

This review is transcluded from Talk:Maryland Route 12/GA1. The edit link for this section can be used to add comments to the review.
  1. Is it reasonably well written?
    A. Prose quality:
    B. MoS compliance:
You have the MDSHA linked in every citation. It should only be linked in the first use.
  2. Is it factually accurate and verifiable?
    A. References to sources:
    B. Citation of reliable sources where necessary:
This route is 30 miles long. There has to be more than MDSHA references. Even with google, this still uses 90% Primary Sources.
    C. No original research:
  3. Is it broad in its coverage?
    A. Major aspects:
The history in terms of projects is totally lacking in detail, and is written in summary style, which is a no-no. The stuff in there has potential, but 1 sentence for certain projects will never do.
    B. Focused:
  4. Is it neutral?
    Fair representation without bias:
  5. Is it stable?
    No edit wars, etc:
  6. Does it contain images to illustrate the topic?
    A. Images are copyright tagged, and non-free images have fair use rationales:
    B. Images are provided where possible and appropriate, with suitable captions:
  7. Overall:
    Pass or Fail:

I am being lenient and putting this on hold. This article is lacking in important places, and I want a full change before passing. I expect more than this for 30 miles.Mitch32(The Password is... See here!) 13:40, 16 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

I have replied to the above changes. For the record, despite the fact MD 12 is 30 some miles, it is a rather boring route that simply runs through miles of rural areas with little of interest. Nevertheless, I added some non-MDSHA sources pertaining to points of interest along the road. I tried to add some information to the History, but there is not too much information available on the past of this road besides the MDSHA maps. In addition, few changes have occurred to MD 12 over the years. Dough4872 (talk) 16:30, 16 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

Section 1.1 really drags on. --Rschen7754 (T C) 18:49, 16 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

I have trimmed some excessive information from the route description. As for the History, there have not been any significant proposed projects along MD 12 other than what is listed so there is essentially nothing more that can be added. Dough4872 (talk) 22:02, 17 September 2009 (UTC)Reply
Details on the MD 12/113 project?Mitch32(The Password is... See here!) 01:17, 18 September 2009 (UTC)Reply
I added a sentence on the construction costs. Dough4872 (talk) 02:21, 18 September 2009 (UTC)Reply
Still need why they plan on replacing it, then I'll pass it.Mitch32(The Password is... See here!) 19:41, 19 September 2009 (UTC)Reply
Its already in the article in the line "in order to improve safety and traffic flow as a follow up to widening US 113", part of the first sentence describing the project. Dough4872 (talk) 13:52, 20 September 2009 (UTC)Reply
