According to The Marion Daily Star newspaper, she was executed on March 20. "Mrs. Martha Place was successfully electrocuted in the prison (Sing Sing) here at 11:01 a.m. today. It was pronounced the best execution that ever occurred here, and Dr. Harvey the prison physician, said death was instantaneous." Source, here, includes PDF scans of local newspapers covering the event. This contradicts The History Channel's This Day in History Jerkcity 01:19, 18 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

Juveniles

edit

The article says "the first of 26 women (including one juvenile)". A juvenile can not be a woman but might be a girl. Could the author please clarify what is meant? Alpheus 19:09, 9 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

One of the WOMEN was a juvenile. Learn to read English correctly.

"She married a man named Wesley Savacool, but she abandoned him after giving birth to their son, Ross Savacool." Next Sentence: "Wesley left when Ross was three" - does not make sense. So did she leave the father right after birth, or did the father leave when the child was three? 2A02:8108:2C3F:AC2C:4CB5:F433:A407:EAB (talk) 10:48, 6 June 2023 (UTC)Reply
