Actual birth name? edit
Is it Martha Alter, or Marty Alter as her Woodstock School alumni page states?
She has written several books like Perpetual Mourning: Widowhood in rural India. And on the cover she writes her name as Martha Alter Chen. GShacklebolt (talk) 15:21, 28 November 2021 (UTC)
American academic edit
The first para says she is an American academic. This sentence is ambiguous and might confuse readers to believe that her nationality is American. GShacklebolt (talk) 15:16, 28 November 2021 (UTC)
