Proposed move edit

Since there's no need for disambiguation, this should be at Marriott World Trade Center, without the "(hotel)" bit. Move blocked by redirect page. Kafziel Talk 00:32, 2 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

Lead edit

Perhaps the lead of this article should mention that the hotel was destroyed on 9-11. Dsmdgold (talk) 02:26, 21 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

The WTC Marriot damages edit

The Marriott hotel(WTC 3)was actually partially collapsed on 9/11/2011. Sadly, most people think that the debris had destroyed all of the building. Actually, it seems that a corner of the first three floors had survived with major damage to the windows, interior, frame, and exterior. It was later taken out in March, 2002 to make way for memorial service.--JMWpedia (talk) 02:16, 15 October 2011 (UTC)Reply

Demerge back from page Three World Trade Center edit

These pages were merged without discussion or stated reason a few years back (2011), to my bewilderment. The building would seem to be notable, not just the address/plot of land it was on; further, the infobox was deleted during the merge. The content would come from the section placed on Three World Trade Center, which is substantively unchanged from the merge. Please feel free to raise objections, etc, at this talk page, or see the original discussion at this talk page section. Techhead7890 (talk) 10:47, 2 February 2016 (UTC)Reply

Bold significant alternative titles edit

@MONGO MOS:BOLDSYN says "significant alternative titles (which should usually also redirect to the article) are placed in bold". The Marriott World Trade Center was known under all names that I mention: World Trade Center 3 (WTC 3 or 3 WTC), the World Trade Center Hotel, the Vista International Hotel, Vista Hotel and the Marriott Hotel, and I provided references for these names. Some of these indeed redirect to this page, while others redirect to its successor, Three World Trade Center at 175 Greenwich Street. Following the rule as outlined in the Manual of Style, all these names should be in bold. Nederlandse Leeuw (talk) 17:48, 4 October 2018 (UTC)Reply

Those aren't significant titles...they are all redirects to this page anyway, except one.--MONGO (talk) 19:48, 4 October 2018 (UTC)Reply
How have you determined those 'aren't significant titles'? All of the names mentioned are based on a reliable source saying these were/are all commonly used names for this building. "Vista International Hotel" was its official name from 1981 until 1995, and "Vista Hotel" is an obvious abbreviation of that; at the very least these should be in bold.
