Citation question edit

Can anyone figure out which "Sutherland" is quoted here and wikify him? LizardWizard 23:47, Apr 25, 2005 (UTC)

From an Amazon search, James Sutherland appears to be the most obvious candidate, but not clear from which of his publications this might come, and he doesn't seem to have a Wikipedia article. DionysosProteus 13:00, 12 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Indeed, 'tis he. I've added a proper reference, --Antiquary (talk) 18:24, 17 November 2019 (UTC)Reply

Spelling edit

Someone recently changed the spelling of the article title to "Marriage à la mode" from the original "Marriage A-la-Mode." However, the hyphenated and capitalized title seems to be standard in most editions. The contributor claims Dryden spelled it à la mode but provides no reference -- I suggest it should be changed back.--174.56.0.212 (talk) 21:32, 11 May 2010 (UTC)Reply

Between the title and two textual occurrences, I see three different "spellings" (well, punctuations, really) of the title. While it is likely that it was inconsistently presented in its day, surely one can be used throughout in this article? Which one, I'm not sure, though. I prefer Marriage à la Mode, but that is not based on any scholarship or references. Huw Powell (talk) 15:14, 25 March 2012 (UTC)Reply

Modern-day productions edit

Is it ever performed in the modern-day? 173.88.246.138 (talk) 03:56, 10 June 2023 (UTC)Reply
