- I have been going through List of Law Life Peerages, trying to link up the peers with their articles (for example, Anthony Lloyd, Baron Lloyd of Berwick was until recently at Lord Lloyd of Berwick). That list indicated that the "of Newdigate" was not part of the peerage title. Apologies if I am wrong. -- ALoan (Talk) 16:22, 9 February 2006 (UTC)
- Hmm, that list's a bit dodgy — it also cuts short Lord Oliver of Aylmerton, Lord Bridge of Harwich, Lord Morris of Borth-y-Gest, Lord Asquith of Bishopstone, Lord Gordon of Drumearn and one of the Lords Russell of Killowen. This page is much more reliable (the bolded bits are part of the title). Proteus (Talk)

Seeing as the inquiry has not yet released its findings, I suggest the comment about "revolutionary results" be excised, or a citation given 82.110.248.146 (talk) 16:43, 1 February 2008 (UTC)
"First class honours in law" edit
from Brasenose? Impossible! Oxford's degrees are in Jurisprudence. There is no 'law' degree at the university possible other than Jurisprudence at the time that the subject was there.Jatrius (talk) 20:50, 13 October 2009 (UTC)
