Talk:Man on the Silver Mountain

Subject of the song edit

Anon agrees with the entry immediately below (the subject of the song should be added). Examination of the lyrics reveals it is a quasi-myth of a legendary character at a place called Silver Mountain. The metal is heavy with this song, /metal/bros.

The subject of the song should be added. As it already says in the article, "a man on the silver mountain is a kind of God figure everyone is crying out to". Dio was a critic of religion. He wants to express his criticism of crying out to a deity. --Doovele (talk) 22:12, 12 June 2020 (UTC)Reply

According to the article, "the song's lyrics are essentially meaningless." SolarFlashDiscussion 00:12, 13 June 2020 (UTC)Reply
Well, Dio explained the meaning of the lyrics. The lyrics are not meaningless, they appear to be meaningless. --Doovele (talk) 08:39, 13 June 2020 (UTC)Reply
