The result of the move request was: Disambiguated; Magnificence (disambiguation) → Magnificence (non-admin closure) Silikonz💬 14:55, 6 February 2023 (UTC)
Magnificence (history of ideas) → Magnificence – The target currently redirects to Catherine de' Medici's court festivals, which I think is somewhat surprising. This article is a better candidate for primary topic. Srnec (talk) 03:44, 30 January 2023 (UTC)
- Oppose the redirect to the Medici magnificence is not too surprising. In ictu oculi (talk)
- However Magnificence (disambiguation) might be better In ictu oculi (talk) 09:52, 31 January 2023 (UTC)
- Disambiguate by moving Magnificence (disambiguation), common practice for dicdef words that have no obvious encyclopedic topic that readily comes to mind. -- King of ♥ ♦ ♣ ♠ 10:57, 1 February 2023 (UTC)
- Oppose but rename Magnificence (disambiguation) to Magnificence. -- Necrothesp (talk) 13:45, 1 February 2023 (UTC)
- Disambiguate per King of Hearts and Necrothesp. Pageview analysis shows that Magnificence (history of ideas) and Catherine de' Medici's court festivals have reasonably similar average views, suggesting that there's WP:NOPRIMARY here.
