Rev. Joseph Diggle
editThe story of this School Board member, as given in ODNB article (by Donald P. Leinster-Mackay, ‘Diggle, Joseph Robert (1849–1917)’ [1] accessed 20 Jan 2007]), if incorporated in this article, would add to its interest === Vernon White (talk) 21:37, 20 January 2007 (UTC)
First SBL school
editFrom 'London Today and Yesterday' Volume 2, Number 1, March 1937, page 8.
'At the corner of [present day Old Church Street] is the old parish church of St Mary [Chelsea Old Church on Google Maps]... adjoining is the Petyt Hall, an early eighteenth century building, which became the first Board School in London.' Jackiespeel (talk) 15:30, 23 June 2023 (UTC)
