Sourcing

@Ibn Juferi: Regarding your edit summary here: if there is no other source that confirms the claim being made, that is not evidence of the reliability of that source - it is evidence that the claim should be excluded. See WP:BURDEN. Nikkimaria (talk) 00:01, 24 June 2024 (UTC)Reply

The info is useful for readers. It has the map of the location and photos, I don't see why it should be excluded. We are talking about the location of a grave here, no one is going to write an article journal telling us about the grave of the Faruqis. Ibn Juferi (talk) 00:18, 24 June 2024 (UTC)Reply
It should be excluded because it lacks reliable sourcing, and belief that it is "useful" does not overcome that requirement. Nikkimaria (talk) 01:04, 24 June 2024 (UTC)Reply
Do you have an alternative to proving the location of the grave and including it in the entry, apart from going there yourself to confirm the source? Ibn Juferi (talk) 01:38, 24 June 2024 (UTC)Reply
Leaving it out unless/until reliable sourcing can be identified. Nikkimaria (talk) 01:49, 24 June 2024 (UTC)Reply
I understand the importance of reliable sourcing. Since it's challenging to verify the grave's location in person, using Find A Grave is a practical solution for confirming this detail. Omitting the information when a reliable source is available would be a missed opportunity. Ibn Juferi (talk) 16:07, 24 June 2024 (UTC)Reply
But there isn't a reliable source available - that's the issue. I appreciate you'd prefer that there is, but if there isn't, what you're proposing isn't a practical solution. Nikkimaria (talk) 01:23, 25 June 2024 (UTC)Reply
