loanword edit
The Arabic is clearly a loan word from Farsi. The English simply reproduces the Arabic because it has no equivalent architectural feature of the sort. But it is not a loan word from Arabic. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Pamour (talk • contribs) 14:03, 27 September 2012 (UTC)
