Fair use rationale for Image:Rory-live.jpg

edit

Image:Rory-live.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 10:44, 6 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Landmark Recording Claim Needs Reference

edit

The current article says "Live in Europe is considered by many critics to be a landmark live recording," but there is no reference. It actually sounds like a reasonable thing to say but I can't recall a critic ever saying it. If someone knows please post the ref in the article or leave a note here or on my talk page but if I can't find a reference I'm going to delete that claim. Bullfrog Blues Guitar?

edit

The text seems to imply he used his Stratocaster for the last song of the original album "Bullfrog Blues", after playing the mandolin. Is there any source for that? Because on all filmed live recordings I know, he is seen playing this song on a different electric guitar, like a Telecaster in the early 70s. Example: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IZJNxW8zt-k 2A02:8109:8980:3DF8:3158:1CF5:1233:5AC5 (talk) 05:16, 23 September 2016 (UTC)Reply

I just looked at the Irish Tour video and I think Internet user is correct, Gallagher is playing a white guitar on Bullfrog blues not the famous beat up strat he was using before the acoustic part of the concert. In my opinion its better to be conservative though and just say something like "he returns to the electric guitar" rather than mention the strat or the kind of guitar without a reference that says for sure one way or the other. But I definitely think it should be changed and not refer to the strat. --MadScientistX11 (talk) 20:46, 26 September 2016 (UTC)Reply
