I have fished @ Little River near the Brazos River connection. The water does not empty into the Brazos, it flows from that river. Also, I have been to Port Sullivan's historical site. It is North of FM 485 and the Little River does not cross FM 485. The two rivers actually connect south of the bridge; between FM 485 and Hwy 79...closer to the abandoned Nashville, TX.
I have camped at Port Sullivan @ Smith's Bottom (closed for years) and it is a beautiful area with large rocks in the water where it would form very warm pools. I have also been to the locks where ships used to pass through. They are huge. I believe the reason that the Brazos River is so low now is because the Little River runs FROM it. Please check the facts. 69.5.205.205 (talk) 03:57, 5 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
