Major shopping centers edit
A few things to consider before adding to the list of major shopping malls of Metro Manila:
- 1. Is it included in the List of largest shopping malls in the Philippines?
- 2. Is it located in a major shopping district close to major thoroughfares like EDSA, Roxas Boulevard, C-5 Road, Manila Skyway, etc and near an LRT/MRT station?
- 3. Is it located in a major commercial district where Metro Manilans work and shop like Makati, Ortigas Center and Bonifacio Global City?
- 4. Does it offer more than the basic shops and amenities?
- 5. Would Metro Manilans and tourists actually go there to shop or does it only cater to residents of that area?
Based on the above criteria, Fairview (the district in Quezon City) with its two shopping malls Fairview Terraces and SM City Fairview do not belong to that category IMO. --RioHondo (talk) 13:05, 3 March 2014 (UTC)

This is due in part to the massive infra drive in that area with the construction of the MRT7 and Manila Subway. - Evia Lifestyle Center, as it is, is a red link and has no Wikipedia article. Does it pass for a major shopping center given that there are at least 7 malls which are much bigger than Evia, are more centrally located, and with their own Wikipedia articles? "First" Mall edit

- Please feel free to correct any info but keep in mind that they should be supported by reliable sources. The ref provided says Ali Mall is the first shopping mall, the first modern shopping mall that is automobile-oriented that is (i.e, the first with a carpark building.) Evia Lifestyle Center as "major shopping center" edit
Evia Lifestyle Center was a lifestyle mall, which is more on actual dining, and only has 4 cinemas, a MX4D cinema, a VIP Theater, and 2 Dolby Atmos cinemas. (before the expansions). The reason why Evia Lifestyle Center will become a major shopping center, due to the expansion that started on 2017 and has a soft opening on 2018, it is expected to be completed on 2020. They opened the AllDay Supermarket, Kinder City, and AllHome. It is expected to have a AllShoppe Department Store. They also opened 4 more cinemas, an IMAX with Laser, another VIP theater, and 2 more Dolby Atmos cinemas, making it a total of 8 cinemas. Their expansion included a fourth floor. So the reason why I wanted to move the Evia Lifestyle Center to "major shopping mall" category, is due to the major expansions. The Evia Lifestyle Center mall as "lifestyle mall" category, is before the expansion. Even though the mall is not larger than the seven major shopping malls. There are major shopping centers that are smaller like Alabang Town Center(48,000), Gateway Mall(100,000) and Power Plant Mall(41,000). Alabang Town Center doesn't connect within the MRT line. - You don't need to give us a rundown of the mall's features and other justification for its inclusion in the list. What you need to demonstrate is its notability and the only way to do that is through a Wikipedia article on Evia Lifestyle Center, its notability should speak for itself with the help of reliable sources. Until that isn't done there is no way we can include it in the major shopping list as you see every item there has passed the notability guideline with their individual wikiarticles. All major malls should have their own wikiarticles, and from there we will see if indeed it belongs to the list with all your mall specs verified through RS.--03:32, 15 May 2019 (UTC)
May we really suggest to create a page "Evia Lifestyle Center" so I can move it to the major shopping center category? If it was on the lifestyle mall category, this was before the expansions. Here is the reliable source of the mall's expansion.
