Northern Administration District, Saskatchewan

Should we add the Northern Administration District to the list of rural municipalities? It doesn't have a number, but it seems like it's the same as any other rural municipality, and I believe "Northern Administration District" is its official name. In any case, I'm going to change any references to Northern Saskatchewan, Saskatchewan in the rural municipality articles to Northern Administration District, Saskatchewan. Thank you. Non-existent?

I looked at some official maps of RM boundaries and some of those listed here (25, 55, I didn't check further) don't seem to exist. Was I looking at dated maps? or is this page incorrect? Lavateraguy (talk) 20:41, 25 July 2008 (UTC)

~In my opinion...These could be listed here and the articles made as re directs to the current RM which assumed them when the RM's were re-assigned areas and designations at various times. Such happened for Corman Park No. 344 which assumed Cory 344, Warman 374 , and Park 375... or Rural Municipality Number 345 of Richland which was absorbed into into Loganton and into Vanscoy No. 345.SriMesh | talk 03:54, 7 September 2009 (UTC)

It looks like the numbers refer to locations, so the gaps are possibly because were no rural municipalities in some areas, or the areas were part of others, and a few of them, such as the gap between 19 and 31, probably couldn't have existed as they would have been outside the boundaries of Saskatchewan. The numbers such as 25 and 55 appear to have been typos in some of the sources, so I have changed them to 225 and 255. There is a list of "disorganized" rural municipalities at http://www.municipal.gov.sk.ca/Municipal-History/RMs-Disorganized, so maybe these could be added, although I can't find any information about them other than the dates when they are disorganised). snigbrook (talk) 22:20, 9 November 2009 (UTC)

If there are 296 RMs and 21 former RMs, why does the numbering go to 622? —Tamfang (talk) 06:36, 10 April 2023 (UTC)
