Should exclude prov and nat'l parks

Most of the list currently is civic or regional parks, though some national and provincial parks are present; the title may need adjusting, but I propose that this page be dedicated to civic/regional parks; the List of provincial parks in British Columbia already has sections on ecological preserves, protected areas etc; it and a list of national parks in British Columbia can be directed-to from this page, which I see no reason to reduplicate materials already on another page....Skookum1 (talk) 14:32, 20 March 2009 (UTC)

Deletion proposal under G6

@Graeme Bartlett: I was the editor that moved the content of this article from List of protected areas of British Columbia. Other provincial lists of 'protected areas' focus on listing national and provincial parks, whereas the content of it at the time mainly focused on municipal and regional parks. I have proposed deleting the redirect so that the article List of British Columbia Provincial Parks could be moved to List of protected areas of British Columbia, and hence become consistent. All of this shuffling around has also been done to preserve editing history. I do not believe eliminating the re-direct will be of consequence, because if a user looking for information on municipal and regional park accidentally ends up at an article talking about provincial and national parks, List of British Columbia Provincial Parks currently has a {{For}} template at the top directing readers in the right direction. I have also ruled out merging the two due to the sheer size of content. --Natural R_X 14:33, 7 March 2016 (UTC)
