Characters out of order

I just thought I should tell someone who's in charge of this article that Billy Numerous, Dex-Starr and Fredric Vaux need to be put in alphabetical order in their respective sections and that Zoe Lawton needs to be taken out of Z and put into L.

Merger proposal

I propose to merge List of minor DC Comics characters into Lists of DC Comics characters. This is what happened to List of minor Marvel Comics characters. If there is no objections I will do it.Sahaib3005 (talk) 17:19, 15 August 2021 (UTC)

@Sahaib3005 I don't know if we should completely blank this list. Sure, it has its issues but we could probably clean it up a bit. It's a good redirect for minor character pages that get chosen to merge. Yes, there are tons of DC Comics characters, and yes, we should find other sources aside from the comics, but getting rid of this removes a lot of context.--WuTang94 (talk) 18:06, 15 August 2021 (UTC)

On second thought, after taking a look at the Marvel list, getting rid of that "minor characters" list was doable, as each Marvel page that has characters listed by alphabetical order (such as List of Marvel Comics characters: V) has a little blurb about each of those characters. The DC alphabetical lists (such as List of DC Comics characters: F) are merely just lists with links with no character descriptions, and their character descriptions were based only in the "minor characters" list. So I'm now firmly for restoring the "DC minor characters" list unless other objections come up. --WuTang94 (talk) 18:10, 15 August 2021 (UTC)

@WuTang94 I have merged all the characters into the alphabetical lists. I probably should have waited a bit longer for other people to give their opinion on the matter. I think the DC character list should be consistent with the marvel lists.Sahaib3005 (talk) 18:26, 15 August 2021 (UTC)

Consistency can be good, but to truly make the DC lists consistent with Marvel, each of the alphabetical characters lists need character descriptions, which I think would be a lot of tedious work to move from the central "Minor characters" list to each alphabetical page. Nothing has happened in weeks and there is still considerable duplication between List of minor DC Comics characters and List of DC Comics characters: P. MB, I think this page should redirect to List of DC Comics characters because it is just duplication. Once this page is gone it will encourage more people to improve the alphabetised list pages instead of adding to this page because it will be redirected. Copyvio

@User:Qwerfjkl, if you check the history of this former article it has been around for a long time and has been added to by many people. It is more likely that the source copied the list off Wikipedia because it looks dodgy. Sahaib3005 (talk) 21:17, 4 September 2021 (UTC)
