Talk:List of mines in Russia

Diamonds: Popigai Astroblem mine edit

I listed this mine because, even though I can't find evidence that it is a currently operating mine, the introduction to this article states that "This list of mines... lists working, defunct and *future* mines... The Geology journal article I cited downplays this Siberian site. This popular media article hypes this resource: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2204566/Russia-diamonds-Source-Siberian-asteroid-crater-supply-world-markets-3-000-years.html Bob Enyart, Denver radio host at KGOV (talk) 02:24, 17 October 2012 (UTC)Reply

Additional Russia mines to be added to the list edit

While working Category:Orphaned articles from July 2013, I found many Russian mines listed there. For the following articles I added (and still adding) List of mines in Russia into a "See also section". These can be incorporated into the List by primary mineral output.

Page information shows 260 Pageviews activity for the past 30 days, so this is an open invitation for interested editors to add these mines into this list.
