Mockery

edit

I'm aware this might not be popular but shouldn't the Rangers fan's Famine song be included as it's regarding the Great Famine? The C of E. God Save The Queen! (talk) 18:38, 17 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

I'd like a better explaination as to why not rather than just "no". The C of E. God Save The Queen! (talk) 21:58, 26 March 2011 (UTC)Reply
Do you really need a reason as to why a racist sectarian rant from a bunch of bigoted soccer fans is not a memorial to the famine? Mo ainm~Talk 22:27, 26 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

Addition to the list

edit

Thank you for putting together this page. I'd appreciate if you would include the Irish Memorial in Philadelpha, www.irishmemorial.org It was sculpted by world renowned artist Glenna Goodacre and erected by the Friendly Sons of St. Patrick/Irish Memorial Inc. in 2003. It's an incredible piece of art and a wonderful tribute to the Irish, it would be a great addition to your page. Thanks69.253.52.203 (talk) 22:06, 3 November 2011 (UTC)Reply

Edit away and add it yourself, this is the encyclopedia anyone can edit. Mo ainm~Talk 22:31, 3 November 2011 (UTC)Reply

Monument to Choctaw Nation in Midleton, Ireland

edit

I'm not sure if this monument belongs here, but I'm posting this in case anyone think it does. A monument was built in Bailic Park of Midleton to honor a $710 donation for famine relief in 1847 by the Choctaw Nation. Some articles falsely reported the amount of $170. • SbmeirowTalk • 16:47, 20 March 2016 (UTC)Reply
