Unreliable sources
editThe article contains a lot of unreliable sources such as addatoday.com, itsboxoffice.com, boxofficecapsule.com, bollyarena.net-Managerarc™ talk 20:52, 30 March 2016 (UTC)
Other regional film industries
editThe list only includes Bollywood movies contradicting the title, there exist some obvious movies like Bahubali if otherwise.— Preceding unsigned comment added by 14.139.160.72 (talk) 13:54, 9 April 2016 (UTC)
And also the list is very biased. For instance, in Kabali movie page, the overseas collections says it collected $40 million which should place it at 2nd spot and it was yesterday. But today, someone has removed it and made it 10th placed with $15 million collection.— Preceding unsigned comment added by 116.75.83.79 (talk) 18 August 2016
- On the Kabali page, where does it say the the film has "collected $40 million" in overseas markets? Please do tell me because I can't see it anywhere. All it mentions is $15.65 million.- Managerarc™ talk 21:08, 18 August 2016 (UTC)
Kabali has not grossed more than $ 15.6 million V99991111 (talk) 05:32, 3 February 2017 (UTC)
As per this report, Kabali has collected ₹262 crore(US$ 40 million) overseas. So, I suggest we take steps to include it in the list.Rajan51 (talk) 05:32, 18 June 2017 (UTC)

Tiger Zinda Hai - Currently attributed to Koimoi
editTiger Zinda Hai's ₹1.24 billion figure is currently attributed to Koimoi, which is not a suitable source per WP:ICTF#Guidelines on sources. Please update to a more reputable site. The source was added here by Bibsomania, who was previously informed that Koimoi was not a good source. Perhaps we're just blinded by the dazzling higher numbers? Cyphoidbomb (talk) 07:57, 20 January 2018 (UTC)
- I've updated the number with a Bollywood Hungama source. Maestro2016 (talk) 08:08, 20 January 2018 (UTC)
Removal of all entries with figures invented by multiplying prices
editPursuant to the closely-related discussions (see here and here) on fabricated figures at List of highest-grossing video game franchises, I have removed every entry that has invented numbers, in whole or in part, by multiplying a price. Numerous estimates here are not stated in any source but rather invented via WP:SYNTH. The entries may be re-added with the fabricated numbers removed, if proper sources exist for them. Undiscussed move
edit@RandomCanadian:, you have moved the article from previous title of List of highest-grossing Indian films in overseas markets to the current title of "Indian films in overseas markets". Please self-revert and follow WP:MOVE. §§Dharmadhyaksha§§ {Talk / Edits} 09:17, 17 June 2022 (UTC)
- Stop putting statistical nonsense in articles. The move was intended to discourage exactly that. This certainly has enough sources to warrant a full article and not a shitty low-effort stats-dump list. Anyways, not that I care anymore. RandomCanadian (talk / contribs) 03:43, 7 July 2022 (UTC)
