List of foreign brand vehicles developed and manufactured by automobile companies of China → ? – The current title is... a bit of a mouthful, and I think we could drop a few words fairly easily, but I'm not sure how to achieve the best possible WP:CONCISE, so throwing it to a mostly unconstrained discussion here.

I think we can drop "developed and" fairly easily, I don't think there's a strong reason to limit the scope that way. For the rest of the second half though, I'm not sure if we can shorten it further, even though I'd like to if possible. For the same length, I think "automotive companies" instead of "automobile companies" is a little more natural. Alternatively, if we want to align with List of automobile manufacturers of China (for consistency), maybe a shorter verb ("made" maybe?) could be used. It might also be possible to drop "vehicles" from the title, though I'm less sure if that is appropriate.

So, I think my best would be List of foreign brand vehicles made by automobile manufacturers of China or List of foreign brands made by automobile manufacturers of China. Other suggestions would definitely be appreciated! Alpha3031 (tc) 14:06, 23 May 2024 (UTC) — Relisting. Bensci54 (talk) 16:20, 30 May 2024 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for your suggestion, but there is problem with the List of foreign brand vehicles made by automobile manufacturers of China.
It can be referred to those foreign brand vehicle which produced by Sino-foreign joint venture, like an Audi A6 made by FAW-VW.
That's why I put "developed and manufactured" before it, to emphasis the vehicle is technologically dominate by Chinese manufacturer, rather than joint-venture foreign brand. Infinty 0 (talk) 14:59, 23 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
Strictly speaking, it's not necessary to define the scope without any possibility of ambiguity in the title alone. The initial tarts of the article, such as the short description and the lead (especially the first sentence) also define the scope. Additionally, I'm not sure it's necessary to preemptively restrict the scope like that. Alpha3031 (tc) 17:00, 24 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
If ambiguity of the title is not a problem, I'm totally fine with your suggestion. I also wish the title of the article could be more concise. Infinty 0 (talk) 18:20, 30 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
The article currently includes cars made by Spotlight Automotive, which is a joint venture producing cars that the article says were developed by GWM. Are you saying those should not be included? — BarrelProof (talk) 01:24, 28 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
Spotlight Automotive is quite different than other joint venture that the Mini vehicles it produced are actually based on technology of GWM, its Chinese partner. So it fits the definition of "a vehicle whose key technology solutions are dominated and produced by a Chinese manufacturer." Infinty 0 (talk) 18:17, 30 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
