Humvee
editDoesnt Canada use the Humvee?129.127.32.138 (talk) 06:09, 28 February 2020 (UTC)
- Yes, but only CANSOFCOM units including Joint Task Force 2 and the Canadian Special Operations Regiment do; the Canadian Army doesn't. However, I've added them to the list for clarity purposes and because it's not well indicated/cited on the other pages. Burnsnet27 (talk) 23:42, 6 August 2020 (UTC)
Needs More Images
editHi Everyone,
This article is currently lacking Creative Commons, public domain, and other free images of Canadian Army equipment. As official Government of Canada images fall under Crown copyright, I'd like to put out a general call to the Wikipedian community to find, add, or upload images related to the content in this article. It would be best that the images are of actual Canadian Army/Canadian Forces equipment, rather than of similar equipment used by other countries. The following is a list of what images are IMO needed:
- Most content in the Individual equipment section (these are the most difficult to find)
- Colt Canada C8 (currently available images are either unclear or display variants used by other countries)
- Colt Canada C19 (current image is of Tikka T3)
- FN/Colt Canada C9 (current image is okay, but not clear)
- Colt Canada C7CT
- Colt Canada C20
- C14 Timberwolf
- C8 Smoke Grenade
- Polaris DAGOR
- MSVS SMP (current image is of French Army Renault Kerax 8x8)
- HLVW
- Western Star 4900 series
- Bison armoured personnel carrier
- LAV VI/6.0 ACSV
- ARV 3 M (current image is of German Army Büffel ARV 3)
- Galion 850 series road grader
- Arva Industries MPEV
- All systems in the Unmanned ground system section

Black Hornet
editI edited the info reagrding the Black Hornet on the equipment list. Spesifically the country of origin andthe edit was reverted. Why ?
The Black Hornet Nano is developed by Norway, not USA. so the flag should be changed. You can read up on it on the Back Hornet wikipedia site. Mortyman (talk) 07:37, 1 November 2021 (UTC)

CANSOFCOM Equipment
editI think given its limited distribution and use, equipment used by only CANSOFCOM should be pulled out of the main tables and into its own subsection. Putting it in the main tables gives a false impression that this equipment is in wide use, especially if you skip the notes. It is noteworthy, but it is distinct and far more limited than the equipment used by the reserves and reg force. Jonathon A H (talk) 20:15, 23 November 2022 (UTC)
MG3 new machine gun read description
edityou should add the mg3 german machine gun to the machine gun section as it is used by the royal canadian armored division it mounted on 20 leopard 2a6 Strongcanuck250 (talk) 04:50, 12 August 2024 (UTC)
- I would disagree, personally. They're intrinsic to a subset of the Leo2s that were inherited because of how the tanks were acquired. As such, they are or should already be noted as part of the tank's armaments. Jonathon A H (talk) 14:37, 12 August 2024 (UTC)
