New Article note

I just created this article, it took me a heck of a long time so can no one delete it please. I know it lacks references at the moment, I've always had trouble with them, I don't know how to add the references on Wikipedia.

• But* most of the species listed do have a page on here and so the relevant references can be found in the respective articles.

Plymouth Pear

Was going to add a reference for Plymouth Pear but according to the Cornwall Red Data Book (2009): ″Native; Oceanic Temperate species, found from Portugal to Devon and Cornwall. A very rare tree known in only two areas in Britain, one in Plymouth, England, the other in Truro, Cornwall″. Jowaninpensans (talk) 17:57, 29 November 2011 (UTC)

All those whitebeams

The term "species" is only well-defined for things that reproduce sexually. So it is unreasonable to list all those apomictic whitebeams as distinct species. They are distinct species only in the sense that they can't breed with each other – but that is not an indication of how different they are, it is because they can't breed at all. There is a case for removing them from a list of "species". Maproom (talk) 21:52, 22 May 2013 (UTC)

Reptiles?

There appear to be no reptiles (lizards, adder/viper, etc) listed here. Can it be true that these are not considered native, or was this an oversight? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 97.105.71.154 (talk) 15:56, 13 April 2017 (UTC)

The issue is not "native" but "endemic" – none of the British reptiles is endemic —GRM (talk) 11:01, 6 June 2018 (UTC)

Isopods

Hey I'm new and don't know how to add a new subcategory but there is an endemic species of woodlouse Metatrichoniscoides celticus I want to add it but as I said I'm new, can't figure it out can someone add it in? It would need a new heading of either Isopods/isopoda or crustaceans Bugboikeir (talk) 17:50, 28 December 2019 (UTC)
