Red links to pages that may never exist edit

Is there really any point having all these red linked articles, given that many of them may never exist? How many potential castles are there to go on a list of castles in the Marshall Islands, for example?
We could just remove the links to articles that don't exist, and add them again when necessary. --David Edgar (talk) 11:40, 9 December 2016 (UTC)Reply
