Why are you including list seats on this list?

a) they are NOT by-elections b) the welsh Page does not list the resignations on their page

List of Scottish parliamentary by-elections → List of by-elections to the Scottish Parliament – to remove ambiguity. The current title could be read as meaning either a) "By-elections to the Scottish Parliament" in Holyrood, or b) "Parliamentary by-election in Scotland", which would include by-elections to the Parliament of the United Kingdom" in Westminster.
The proposed rename will align this article with Category:By-elections to the Scottish Parliament‎, which is named to avoid confusion with Category:By-elections to the United Kingdom Parliament in Scottish constituencies‎. --BrownHairedGirl (talk) • (contribs) 08:15, 25 September 2012 (UTC)Reply
