Addition edit

Need to add the attack on the US consulate in Jeddah 2 years ago. 169.252.4.21 07:08, 2 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

Probably a better title would be "List of embassy building attacks" as I don't see why attacking the building should be included vice shooting someone in front of the building or sending a poisoned letter. Also, why not merge with Terrorist attacks on U.S. diplomatic facilities and List of terrorist incidents? Mikebar 10:14, 16 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

Bloody Sunday edit

How is anything to do with Bloody Sunday an "attack on a diplomatic mission"? --Nucleusboy (talk) 22:07, 2 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

I was wondering too, but then looked at the linked section, and saw it mentions that the UK embassy in Dublin was burned in retaliation. To clarify, I changed the link to a "(See:" to indicate that the info is within a larger article. MatthewVanitas (talk) 04:30, 3 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

US embassy in Serbia edit

What about the US embassy in Belgrade, Serbia. Was it not burned by Serbian protesters in the 90`s. Why is it not included in the list? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 202.37.68.86 (talk) 09:10, 8 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

Slovak Embassy edit

Waht about the Molotov coctails thrown at the Slovak Embassy in Budapest in August ? See [1]. Is that strong enough to be included ?Knorrepoes (talk) 06:32, 21 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

Putting related attacks into one box? edit

In cases where the attacks happened to multiple embassies in one country, simultaneously, do you think we could group them together in one box to keep from citing the same event over and over? Check out how I've done it on the 1987 attacks on the Saudi and Kuwaiti embassies in Iran. Is that a doable format? MatthewVanitas (talk) 21:47, 24 November 2010 (UTC)Reply

Parcel Bombs Delivered to Swiss and Chilean Embassies in Rome Italy edit

Parcel bombs the size of a vidoe cassette exploded at these two embassies this past Thursday, December 23, 2010. Two injures reported - mail clerk at the Chilean embassy and a Swiss national at the Swiss embassy. Were these two incidents included here as well? Tel Aviv, 1990 edit

I can't find nothing about this attack: 1990 United States Tel Aviv, Israel 1990 US Embassy attack in Tel Aviv. If this attack happened should be added some link and if not it should be removed. Bkorenfeld (talk) 13:50, 10 September 2011 (UTC)Reply

There was a failed raid by PLO forces on a Tel Aviv beach on May 30 1990. One of the targets of that raid was the US Embassy. I believe that's what this is referring to. I'm not sure if a failed attack belongs in this list. See: [2]. GabrielF (talk) 01:30, 27 September 2012 (UTC)Reply

Does this count? edit

Kabul attack on Canadian Embassy guards Beejsterb (talk) 07:10, 5 September 2016 (UTC)Reply

Good question, I don't think it does because there are incidents of ambassador's being attacked in convoys en route to the embassy, and those are also not listed, and since this case happened en route to the embassy and not there, I don't think it counts. - SantiLak (talk) 06:27, 9 September 2016 (UTC)Reply

Proposal: break the table into more manageable sections edit

I just fixed an error where a single pipe character had pushed most of a row one column to the right. Fixing this was tricky because the table is so huge. If the table was broken up into sections of, say 50 years at a time, editing would be easier. Juroreight (talk) 23:11, 16 November 2021 (UTC)Reply

Help edit

"See also" section are merged with with list. I tried to edit the latest 2023 section, however, I can't fix it. Can anyone fix it? Thanks in advance. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Orxan Hacızadə (talkcontribs) 11:41, 30 January 2023 (UTC)Reply

Chinese Embassy in Romania? edit

I see an attack on the Chinese Embassy in Romania in 2008 listed, but can find no other sources that mention this incident, which supposedly killed 10 people. A search of Google returns no relevant results, nor does anything appear in the Global Terrorism Database about such an attack. Can anyone produce a source detailing this event? Otherwise, I believe it ought to be removed. 69.138.7.235 (talk) 02:21, 21 October 2023 (UTC)Reply
