edit- Assertions about motivation of the bombers/shooters/arsonists are according to the linked pages. specific sources still need to be added to this page.E.M.Gregory (talk) 14:16, 19 November 2018 (UTC)
Incorrect title
editThe title does not adequately describe the contents of the page. The title ought to be List of violent attacks on Jewish institutions in the United States.
BTW, I've clarified these are to be physical violence attacks, now that the word "violence" has been debased to include mere speech. XavierItzm (talk) 09:39, 3 December 2018 (UTC)
- I've reverted, and oppose any name change. The ordinary meaning of "attack" and "violent" in English is pretty clear, and it doesn't require clarification. Neutralitytalk 05:55, 4 December 2018 (UTC)
please expand, or reword
editThis list is a disservice to the "general user" of Wikipedia, right from the beginning. At a glance, the page broadly implies that there were no attacks on Jewish groups in the United States before 1957.
This may stem in part from significant overreliance on the Kellman article. Another result of this is infringement on the W'pedia convention that every entry on a List page is supposed to have a W'pedia article, and at least six examples swiped from Kellman have none.
Further down the page, there are at least three more entries that don't refer at all to a relevant WP article.
So, could someone add some clarification, maybe "this data is in no way complete" or such? Or, better still, actually fix it?
This might be one of those instances where, if it's been properly done elsewhere then this page is redundant, but if it hasn't been done elsewhere then it doesn't deserve to be here. I'd like to hear any third rationale before I make changes.

- Weeb Dingle, good point. I've added Template:Expand list to the top of the page which notes, "This list is incomplete; you can help by expanding it." I'll also work on re-organizing and expanded the material on the page when I have the time. Cheers. Loksmythe (talk) 22:01, 22 December 2019 (UTC)
Some of the entries seem relatively trivial and probably should not appear in a list including stabbings, shootings, and bombings. I propose deleting the entry about graffiti on a synagogue and the drunken/drugged man who tried to run into a synagogue, but was stopped. Joe in Australia (talk) 19:42, 17 January 2022 (UTC)
